Welcome to the North American Reining Stakes Futurity and Derby Program. It's our mission to develop the North American Reining Stakes (NARS) into the premier aged event program in North America. We will accomplish our mission by always staying true to our vision of fostering a mutually beneficial relationship between stallion owners, breeders, and exhibitors.
NEW for 2024 to NARS is the addition of The North American Mare Power incentive:
NO ENTRY FEE Derby
Payout 60% to rider, 40% to Mare Nominator
$1,250/year can be paid by mare owner or the owner of one of her offspring.
$1,000 will be added to side pot, $250 reserved for prizes, trophies and marketing.
Annual nomination makes all foals eligible to compete in the North American Mare Power Derby, an exclusive, closed event that runs concurrent with the NARS Derby.
Eligible derby aged show horses must also be enrolled in the NARS Futurity and Derby Program to compete.
NARS 2024
The 100X Reining Classic will again be one of Reining's top shows for 2024. This event will showcase NARS and be hosted at the Expo Square in Tulsa, Oklahoma from August 24th - Sept 1st, 2024.
The 100X Reining Classic officially became the highest paying Reining event in history in 2023 paying out $3.3 Million in purse money!
